In 2024, Excel Propane decided that the Charlotte area would be an ideal location to add a refueling storage facility, allowing us to expand our service. We struggled to find an available parcel that was zoned properly. Then we contacted the owner of the local ServPro in the Charlotte Industrial Park. He had a vacant parcel adjoining his property and was willing to sell it to us! We purchased the ~3.3 acre parcel in the Samual A. Combs Industrial Park in November of 2024.
This facility is currently under construction. We hope to have it fully operational by early 2025. However, we are accepting new customers right now.
The Charlotte facility is managed and used by our amazing team from the Ionia office. They use the facility to refill our delivery trucks and grab tanks for installs with our service trucks. This allows our team to better serve many of our current customers and extend our service area. We now serve customers in Eaton, Barry, and Ingham County.
